meet the artist

Jade is a born and raised hapa girl from the island of O'ahu, Hawai'i. She left her home at 18 to go to Stanford University and get a degree in Design and a Master's in Mechanical Engineering. It was here that she fell in love with combining the principles of engineering with the creativity of the arts. She stayed in California to work for Apple designing the iconic packaging. She really enjoyed that experience and work but longed to return home and finally was able to in 2020. She is excited to share the cross cultural creations she brings to life through rich and vibrant colors, inspired by the local culture, flavors, and activities that she enjoys as a local hapa girl. She continuously practices some form of art everyday and in her free time, you can find her surfing, boxing and spending time with her 'ohana and pup, Moki boy.
